Lots going on here today. Lbjs, and color matching the chrome on the grill today. Tomorrow outer tie rod ends come in then an alignment.

Had to bring the truck to a tire shop to get the locking lug nuts removed being that I lost the key . Only took 20 mins thankfully.

On another note, learned through experience, not going with anything but oem on these suspension parts again.

 

Thanks, Sounds like another project for me, simple four bolts to pull it off Scuff it and shoot it.

 

When I get around to it, I’m probably gonna spray my flares, front bumper and grill to match the rear

My fast fading bumper is starting to match my long since faded fender flares perfectly

FIPG with the transfer case... FSM says to apply around the inner side of the bolt holes.

I went along the outside edge of the bolt holes. Seems OK but of course I'm not going to put this fcker on the vehicle mated up to the trans only to find I fuxored myself and its leaking in multiple places.

Do I need to break it open now before that crap dries and let it dry then remove and re-do?

 

Pull it apart. It will leak out the bolt holes eventually.

Anytime. The silver lining is you caught the mistake before you slammed it back in. Easy fix right now. Not so much later.

Truck needed help making it back out of there last time (2wd)

Wasn't a problem this time... same truck 4 years later.

 

I mean it does say right there no 2wd vehicles haha

 

I found that my radiator was leaking. I was able to swap it out under warranty. Was hoping it would help my running hot probably. But I took it out for a test drive and hit my local big hill. Temp got up to 202. It didn’t do that in the past. So going to try swapping in a new thermostat. See what happens.

 

I wonder if you have an air pocket from the leak

 

I had one of those spill proof funnels that sitting up high and let it run for probably 30 mins to get any air pockets out. Heater was blowing hot.
