I took "I don't want to ride it that bad. Lol" after "For sure man," as you weren't willing to fix/buy if you wrecked/totaled it. I put that stipulation on all my stuff I let people borrow/use.

 

My first on road bike was '99 hyabusa. Then I had the lucky strike edition 1000

 

Those things are insane. I always wanted the Telefonica plastics for my GSXR. The Honda Repsol plastics were cool too.

 

I had a friend in HS who said the same shit about his 4 wheeler which he knew had a bad clutch then wanted someone else to pay for it when it finally went bad while someone else was riding it. I understand the sentiment in that kinda of view but sometimes shit happens that's completely out of anyone's hands and not their fault like a wiring fault shorting out a computer, injector taking a dump, tire blowing out, etc. If someone is careless and wreckless on the bike and damages it then sure they should pay and I totally agree with you. But something totally out of any riders control or any ones control that you let borrow something then that's not really their fault. Because it could of been you on the bike at the time it happened and just dumb luck it wasn't.

 

I look at stuff like that as "it broke", not "you broke it"......except for burning a clutch with less than 1K miles on it.....if that burns........or you scourch a rear tire with front brake burnouts........."you" did it

 

I’d blame it on someone like @pdaddy even if he wasn’t there and everyone saw me do it.

 

It's always Prestons fault he like AKs damn commie

 

Always his fault, no matter what. He needs to be at the mod day in case things go wrong so we know who to blame.

 

Always setting fire to camp in the early morning hours as well.
