    my 3m 77 has finally given up around a couple of edges after 5 or 8 yrs so time to grab some 90 and glue them back down. May cut me a new pair out of the roll of material on hand and make them wrap around on backside more this time.

    In the automotive world 3M spray can adhesives are looked down upon and weaker than DAP landau top and trim adhesive, which is commonly used to spray for upholstering headliners where the fabric not only is exposed to heat but hangs upside down.


    In that case I’d consider buying a small amount to brush on during install

    if you walk into any headliner or upholstery shop, they are using DAP and can probably sell you a little bit poured into a container if you bring one from Home Depot
    3M cans is what teenagers use when they put plaid on the headliner of their EmKay4 2001 Jetta
