Ordered and Eaton locker and an ARB recovery point. I had planned on keeping this thing stock. I think I am getting sucked into the matrix. Someone help me.

Haven’t added a locker because while I was in there I would also re-gear and go to 35’s

Make a note: also, compulsive, extreme, anal & wishy-washy.

So now you're going to get off-road more, you're going to want to spend the night making them two-day trips and will want to camp places with unbelievable views [ insert obligatory @68dave Dave's pic of the view of the Potomac ] and do it comfortably, the next phase will be "accommodations".

You could get a trailer but you strike me more as the "explorer" type. Like a Columbus, or Magellan, someone not willing to accept obstacles as a reason not to explore.

My recommendation would be "bed bars" and a rooftop tent.

It's a tried and true setup that offers a lot of comfort and portability. Used tents in near to new shape are almost always the best choice until you want to upgrade to a GFC (@crazyfingers @fatfurious2 ).

If I didn't need/want a hard shell cap I'd be rocking bed bars and a tent already. So for now I have a ground tent (that others @Russty__ have used more than I have). Ultimately I am building a trailer so maybe then, my ground tent will be a RTT on it.

I have a cheap Napier truck tent for the bed. Use your bad influence to have me spend more money on something else.

Also, I would go more with Yukon Cornelius when it comes to explorers.

A BIG thanks to @Tonymontana and his gf for helping me disassemble my 18x41 carport on this hot day. I sold my house by word of mouth to a guy I know for my full asking price. I settle on July 15th, I E signed the contract today. Wife & I will walk away with enough to pay off the cabin. We will be living in the mountains mortgage & dept free.:D

I still have that Tepui RTT AND the cross bars needed to mount the thing up for grabs. I really thought it would have sold by now.

Well done sir! Congrats on the sale of the house and getting the Land Cruiser shelter taken down. It looks like it's all down but if you need another hand, just reach out. I will help even if it's at the cabin. That would make for a good excuse to camp out again.

Evening, all! You miss me yet? I'm still on training for another 2 weeks out of state but I'll be returning soon enough. What did I miss?

Oh! IN the mean time, I managed to get a little work done while away... New Rigid ditch lights with Cali Raised LED low-profile mounting brackets. Fairly easy install, until I had to send the wires through the firewall. THAT was a pain in the ass.
