My tomatoes look like crap, tried a different variety this year. I’ll stick with lemon boy next year. The zucchini’s were getting to about 3-4” long, then shriveling up. They’re finally starting to set now.

No. It's AC. Summer = Gas compressed in outside coils, expands and cools inside (same as AC), Winter = gas compressed (gets warm) inside..........Think of an AC that can run forward and backward. Super efficient as dual fuel. (not good at all when really cold though, hence the dual fuel). We have propane and barely use much. It's great for our situation.

Took a couple of weekends to build. Do it sooner, rather than later. Younger plants are easier to train to grow on these trellises.
I have 2 rows of 5 plants each. Hoping to put in 4 rows of 5 plants in the fall, while lumber and metal are not completly obscenly high.

Blackberries produce on the last year growth (unless you have primacanes, but those are rare, I have only 1 of those).
Once cane made fruit, it will be cut at the root in winter and pulled out and burned (and ash used to furtilize).
Leaving old, non producing canes on the bush encourages diseases and lowers fruit production, since roots feed them also.

About half of the canes this year are green, with no fruit. They will set fruit for the next year. Those are the ones I snip this month. It gives them 6 month to spread lateraly and give me berries next year. I should have snipped them in early June, but I was busy with raised beds and blueberries.

Pick up some Eagle E-20W fungucide while it is available. It is a safe, wide widespecrum fungucide. Blackberries are succeptible to red leaf rust and anthracose. They will need to be sprayed. A few times a year, before they bloom and after fruit is picked.
I also use it on peaches (the only thing that saved my tree), nectarines, plums, figs (usually figs are desease free, but my old fig had a bad year last year), pawpaws, pears, apples and blueberries.

My oldest fig, 10 years. Has about 2 to 3 yeara left.
It is loaded this year. Figs LOVE alkaline soil. I had a truck load of #57 gravel 10 ft from it. It sent roots to it and sucked all lime out.
I now put powedered lime on the other figs and water it in.

Seems like the ones i bought are slow growing? One is an "apache" the others just say blackberry. They have some berries on some of them.
We Transplanted some "wild" ones but dont know anything about them. The wild ones have little berries.

So the ones with berries cut back this winter?

Gid rid of your wild blackberries NOW!!!!!!!

They carry deseases that WILL kill your thornless blackberries. I bushhogged 5 acres of wild blackberries on my property before planting mine. I have thornless Apache and Arapajo bushes.

Wife and I took a 12 week gardening class from UGA. One of the classes was about the blackberries. I did not know about the deseases until that class. Please watch it.

From reading online. The heat pump install is expensive, has to be properly install. If not it's expensive to run.

I've been think central air, would a heat pump be a better option? Winter I have baseboard with gas furnace.

Is it marinating in something, or just water?

My friend's Aunt used marinate green beans with some kind of vinaigrette. It was good, different, but good.

Regular green bean, olives, chick peas, few other thing. She makes, what she calls a salad.

It takes a long time to make, due to sitting marinating. Add more stuff then sit and wait. Everytime she makes it she always put some aside for me.
