What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I’m super excited to have gotten one and look forward to building a nice tool collection. This is the 41x24.5 model. Lots of good all in one storage space that definitely beats a bunch of small tool boxes and stuff laying out on shelves!

 

Do you need some attention?

 

Sweet.
Be careful when installing the gap shield, the glue is super sticky. You’ll only get one chance to place it. Be careful that you don’t push it into the voids underneath. I used the OEM screws and lined it up against them. I was going to switch out to the flush screws that are included with the Snailarmor but figured the raised OEM would keep anything being slid across the tailgate into the bed from catching on the edge of the gap shield.
Once it’s installed keep an eye on it the first time that you close it and make sure that the excess is going down into the gap opening. Once it sits for a couple days it will take a set and do this every time that you close it.

Ooooo which lid is that? I have the OEM Tonneau but man does the last segment get in the way so often.

 

With the help of some nice TW folks, i finally upgraded my Meso stage 1 total tail kit with vled triton v6 lights, all 4 of the red lights. i had already upgraded the Meso stage 1 kit with the stage 2 vleds. Now i took it a step further with the tritons. Noticeably brighter, but not so much i would say the cost is worth it.

Took me about an hour to do all four. I followed the wet application method with precision and patience. I think it turned out really well…

Where alone can I just purchase the trd center caps?

 

Ordered an Eaton locker and an ARB recovery point. More to come.

 

What would prevent a thief from just unscrewing the hose clamps?

 

That is the Undercover UltraFlex. I’ve had it close to three years and it’s been great! A little on the higher end price-wise, but worth it in my opinion.

 

You are correct. The view from Bretton Woods is spectacular. Skied there quite a few times as well as Loon, Cannon, Attitash/Bears Peak, Wildcat and Cranmore. Also rode snow mobiles out of Bartlett. Beautiful area.

 

That’s a nice attic! Where did you find that? I hate that most are stretchy..

I put shink tube on the clamps band and a bigger piece over the nut.

I purchased the clamp piece for 32.00 and installed that.
