More like thermostat, and fan working harder to keep it cool, fan clutch failure is very rare. Thermostats fail often in these trucks. Just wait and see ;)

Do you notice the coolant gauge taking longer to get to normal operating temp after a cold start? That's the typical symptom of a thermostat stuck open.

Replacement isn't too expensive if that's indeed the culprit: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=12602137&cc=3354143&pt=10337&jsn=390

11 models available: Stock level is always an issue with the pizza cutter sizes.

Everything has gone up in price. My 35s are now about $500 apiece after shipping and taxes. Last year they were $400. :notsure: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/304133189739

Meanwhile I spend $120 weekly on fuel just commuting. Pay to play.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
I've started taking my FJR1300 more often for my 100 klm round trip for work. Can't complain too much at 5.2L/ 100.

Surprisingly that's the mileage I got with my rental Corolla Hybrid when I took it easy.

So.... according to that sign, does that mean all campers must be kept on a leash?

Yes, savage camping will be subject to interdiction and pain of €135 fine (which is still cheaper than hotels in the area... the fines haven't kept up with inflation )

Paint is peeling off rear bumper. Huh. Guess I gotta go steel. Clearly no other option.

Spare wheel came in. Test fitted to verify thread engagement on advice of FN. Always a good idea with chineseium wheels, in case the new batch has the lug holes counterbored to a different depth.

The spare tire is a Goodyear TrailRunner AT in 265/70R17 P/N 741042680, lightest AT tire in that size.

Why is your spare so small?

Oh dang. More than twice the displacement of my bike, 4 times as many cylinders, yet same mileage. I must be doing something wrong....or you’re doing something soooo right

Just came back from a weekend bike trip to Buckhorn. Nearly 1000 klms round trip. I like my Taco but nothing compared to a 2 wheel weekend.
