More like thermostat, and fan working harder to keep it cool, fan clutch failure is very rare. Thermostats fail often in these trucks. Just wait and see

Do you notice the coolant gauge taking longer to get to normal operating temp after a cold start? That's the typical symptom of a thermostat stuck open.

I've started taking my FJR1300 more often for my 100 klm round trip for work. Can't complain too much at 5.2L/ 100.

Surprisingly that's the mileage I got with my rental Corolla Hybrid when I took it easy.

Spare wheel came in. Test fitted to verify thread engagement on advice of FN. Always a good idea with chineseium wheels, in case the new batch has the lug holes counterbored to a different depth.

The spare tire is a Goodyear TrailRunner AT in 265/70R17 P/N 741042680, lightest AT tire in that size.

Oh dang. More than twice the displacement of my bike, 4 times as many cylinders, yet same mileage. I must be doing something wrong....or you’re doing something soooo right

 

Just came back from a weekend bike trip to Buckhorn. Nearly 1000 klms round trip. I like my Taco but nothing compared to a 2 wheel weekend.
