    We're all rooting for you.

Widow Jane comes from NY. You sure you can't just pick a bottle up when you get there?

Turn that bottle on the right around, I believe the age statement is on the back.

I will not be stopping in Brooklyn. Hmmm or will I?

In honor of @Hook78 's WT score I'm pulling out the Rare Breed tonight.

This one gets some water. 2tsp per finger. I find the burn blocks out a lot of flavor when taken neat. Minimal dilution does wonders here.

I was excited to find these. Allocations are getting tight and it's getting harder to find these on the shelves.

Is the single barrel Michter’s rye hard to find? I feel like that’s easy to find in my area but I’ve never specifically sought it out.

Started a bottle aging today, half a vial each of vanilla oak & American sweetheart. I'll let it go a month & see what I get. :playball:

After just an hour it's as dark as tequila, I'm surprised how quickly it pulls that oak out.

It's getting difficult, for sure. The rye is usually available somewhere around town. American and Small Batch are usually gone within a couple of days. One of the liquor stores that I got the Small Batch from (just recently) said they received 6 bottles within 6 weeks. Anything allocated to Oregon is flying off of the shelves.

Oregon only gets the American, Rye, and Small Batch allocated. I think there are 3 Barrel Strength Rye in the state, according to the OLCC website.
