NE area wheeling trip plans

Ok all you savvy book of faces peeps. What big offroad event is going on this weekend? I've seen all kinds of cool rigs being trailered in eastern NY and western MA this morning. They were all heading west into NY.

 

There's something up on osspiee NH, Toyota takeover at Armor Ditch behind Harleu Jacks. Tim owns the place, I haven't been yet but I go with a bunch of people who have and I think a few are going.

Otherwise that's just summer Fridays maybe something at metowee or aoaa too.

 

Oh there was some serious shit being towed. A lot of mud boggers and at least one monster truck. As well as a ton SBS's & ATV's.

Also just saw a few SCCA cars being towed but that's different, still cool but different.

 

Yeah Green Mountain. We meet usually once a week after work, wednesday or thursday, which ever day is nicer.. 5:30pm ish till dark in Northfield. You could get in and around on a semi built vehicle, but they are mostly tight slippery steep trails that will result in body damage.

Ah Green Mountain. I don’t ever see much on the FB page. I talk to Ben probably once a month.

I’d be up for a trip. Headed out the 23rd for VA, bunch of us got a house down there for a week by wintergreen resort. Big levels off road park is right around the corner so we’re going to check that out while we’re there.

Test fit, clearance and final prep completed today for the new bumper and winch, should be on by the weekend! It’s getting painted now.

 

Yeah, I run the fb page. I dont think ive posted anything on there since 2016 0r 2018. Lol. When you post on there the inbox gets flooded with new requests and people "interested" that then you never hear from again. Easier to just not too. Haha

FYI Dorset. I asked around a bunch and nobody gave me an answer on if it was open and if you had to go through a 4x4 club or if it was publicly open etc. So went up and gave it a looksie.

 

Man I hope it opens back up. Still haven’t been there…

Honestly - I am happy I went. If it wasn't wide open I wouldn't go again. It's cool and absolutely should be on bucket lists but after going once I wouldn't go through a hassle to get there. Wide open , I'd go with other people already going.

Truely a great day with @AllTacosFloat, @Roody , @Brownmatthall , @HAVOC and myself. With a little rock therapy. Short course but we were able to pop @HAVOC 's offroading cherry and damn did he have a smile on his face the entire time! Afterwards we went to the Hanger for some Wings and "beverages." I was able to get some sick ones of @Roody in his GX......
