Around Here permits get pulled after the fact if someone questions things.

If your to the point of a shooting war with the neighbors then they get filed first.

I will just say the twp zoning officer lives well beyond his income.

If 10 acres is small for you, our lots would absolutely horrify you. They're all about 1/4 of an acre, which is plenty for me.

2,986 permits issued in the last 3 months, none for that address.

I've used our local GIS site plenty. Among other things, I used their aerial images to redraw the entire campus.

No deer hunting out of the windows for you.

Where I live 10 acres is the smallest parcel you can own.

Unless it was grandfathered from the early sixties.

    Random question here:

I grew up reading Popular Mechanics and Mechanics Illustrated.

I'm pretty sure many in this thread did as well.

I was always enthralled by the cover pictures/graphics/illustrations.

I can remember a couple cover pictures that I'm always reminded of.

One was a drawing of multiple tornados and another was involving neutron bombs.

Just an odd thought for the day.

Any cover art that you can recall.
I'm just in my 50's, so some of you may not remember these covers.

I enjoyed them growing up too but can't recall anything from popular science.
But Outdoor Life, a story that stayed with me from the back pages...This Happened to Me ???
Guy was out hunting and got treed by a bear. If I recall all he had was a quiver of arrows and he got the bear to go on his way by stabbing them arrows down into his face. o_O

I loved those as well. Those graphic artists were the real deal!

So much emotion depicted in 8-9 frames.

That sounds like a good guess! A couple of coworkers built something of the sorts to heat their workshops.

They had some interesting things but in those days most things were way to expensive.

I can`t recall anything the really stands out looking back 50 plus years.

I was only asking about the cover art.

I'm resisting reading the articles for fear of disappointment.

Heh, I gotta take one of the trucks to get back to my neighbors property. Way back there!

Some neighbors are down the road, but I can't really hear any of them. As it should be :D
