I would love to, but I grenaded both my rear brakes and I’m waiting on a rear disk convert. The trail was not without hurdles haha.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
My Ignorance: How does one grenade rear brakes? Clutches, diffs, axle shafts...yes. Rear brakes? Am I missing a special talent? :D

    Also, your rig is badass.

Maybe some custom 200 series land cruiser one wheel brake for tight corners stuff? That would be pretty sweet.

Funny thing is I posted this on the Facebook pages and I’m not even close to the only one haha. At least 6 other guys had the same thing happen, a couple more then once. I guess with the shock relos it can flex to much, lock up the ebrake line, then blow apart.

The result is the same, spontaneous evacuation of fluid and all the components committing suicide. Guess it happens with Jeep rear drums as well. I went ahead and purchased the rear disk conversion.

Oh snap! That makes sense though, so yeah. I didn't think about a failure mode like that.

Archive reached out and said he thinks he has a solution. He’s going to ship me a test set tomorrow.

Some new type of bracket to hold to the leafs, then unbolt it from the frame.

Decided to keep the ol gal. I had a bunch of people stop to look at it in front of my house and 2 of them told me to not to sell it. My wife told me I can't sell it, so it stays. We'll see when I get something new if we ever drive it...

Got the SR8's mounted this weekend. Pics to come. About halfway to lock either way the tires now barely rub on the mudguards. Oh well

A few additions to make me feel cool.
You can chop a lot of the inner structure of the mudguard away. At least you could on the 2nd gens.

I'll try that out. Looking at it, the lift I'll be putting in should get rid of it as there would be a slightly larger gap since they angle away from the tire a bit.
