Yeah, that’s what we suspected would happen. Just a cheap compliance move while the 4th Gen slowly descends from Mt Tacomely! Bummer.

Also, I hadn’t realized the leaf springs puncturing the fuel tank was an issue.

That is a wild issue. I don't recall that being mentioned in the real life stuff.

When you add an AAL if you don't orient the bolt right it can easily rub the fuel tank. You want the bolt head on the inside of the spring facing the fuel tank. If you have the thread side in it can (and has with some members) hit the gas tank.

I did that with my leaf pack also, but the crash test use stock parts only. I know someone that was gouging their tank with an AAL. Not good.

Got my LH and RH rear grab handles (pre-order along time ago) in this week. Now to install them on a cooler day.... Looks like everything is there. :fingerscrossed:
    More here with pics.

KJTO. I bought the 2 day shipping for $26 so it would arrive before I left out of state. Bought on 14th. Sent out on 18th? Then sent snail mail not the 2 day I paid for. WTF!? It arrived of course when I was out of state and then sat in the rain for the week. Called, no pick up.. messaged...no response. Pathetic

well, I thought my issues were fixed when they quickly sent the missing T-Harness for my bowl lights. However, when I finally got around to installing them when I was doing my Meso V5's I found out that was not the case. Instead of a drivers front harness, they sent me another passenger front harness. Emails are not being returned now either. Long shot, but did anyone get an extra drivers door t-harness sitting around I can buy, lol?

    Dear Toyota,

We saw your latest Tacoma crash test. Real shame you haven't solved that whole head to grab handle thing yet. Friendly tip, design the grab handle so it moves away from the head in a crash, like this:

    Jeep

So, that's the proper way to avoid incoming Karens?

Big thanks to Bronxguy. He hooked me up with the t-harness I was missing, so I no longer need to wait for KTJO to hire another new person for customer service. If anyone needs a front passenger t-harness, I’ve got you
