Anyone pickup the newest Vivid11? I'm thinking about taking a leap. Just curious.

I've seen few users get ATOTO's and they seem to be happy with them. If you search ATOTO you should be able to find some threads/comments on them.

I seem to recall a user having one for quite a while and being overall happy with it. So that comment leads me to believe the longevity of the unit is decent.

I installed an Atoto A6 PF last week. Awesome head unit packed full of features. With Kickers and Kicker tweeters the sound is phenominal. Has wifi, gps, Android Auto/Apple Carplay compatibility, maps, pandora, nav. dual usb 3.0 cables, dual camera inputs. Love the in-truck internet. Total cost with head unit, dash kit, harness adapter, rear camera and bluetooth obd2 for engine data on screen was $269. Best deal I have found and works like a charm.

@theolee , alright dude, I went and did it... HAL9K update to my Dasaita head!! Went unbelievably well!! Now running Android 10 will all the current OTA updates and firmware at 3.78!! took a couple hours total, and put my stuff back where I wanted it.. Even using my wireless keyboard and mouse with this thing... NICE!!

    Loving it!!

Right on! Well done. Sounds like I need to do another round of updates! I haven't checked in awhile. Was it easier using your keyboard and mouse to update everything?

Hm I’ll have to look at HAL9K. I’m currently running Vivid11 I believe.

The Vivid11 I thought was Android 11, I bought mine back when this thread pretty much started and was running Android9 with little or no updates. It worked for what I wanted, for the most part. I wanted to update but could not afford a brick and really don't have a lot of patience with Android, I'm a Windows guy since the DOS days!!

The HAL9K was my way to get the updated OS and seemed to be relatively painless, which it was... Flawless for me!

I have a px6. Can I put a tablet sim into it? Or is there a USB dongle that will preferably use a 5g signal?

I know my Dasaita has a SIM / IDMI slot on it.. I haven't used it because I have a cell brick that's always on in the car..

can you tell me where it is physically before I tear the dash apart? I've been using my phone as hotspot. Phone can get 700mbps down on Tmo and really never loses its signal but the dasaita wifi will eventually slow to .1 Mbps and be useless.

    Thanks!

You're going to have to anyway. You can't access the slots without removing the hu.

Did you try pulling the fuse on it for 15 minutes... I found that sometimes they just need a true power reset.. Drivers fuse box outside, don't remember the fuse number..

Yea, but you don't have to pull it apart to get to that one under the hood.. :)

Received and installed my unit. Only real issue is being unable to set the timezone to anything but China. Assume there's likely a firmware update required but has anyone run into/solved this issue before?
