It is a tall bike, but the suspension is pretty soft too. I think in the low position, seat height is 33.7"

I can tip toe one foot down and I make it work, granted I don't live or ride in city traffic much but when I do get caught in Seattle traffic I manage. It's just a matter of perspective. :D

I don't understand why anybody would want to ride without a helmet. Even beyond the safety aspect I feel like it would be obnoxiously loud and as much as I like protein, I get enough without eating bugs.

It even surprised me while watching the new Top Gun that he was still riding around without a helmet, yet wears one while flying and we saw how much that helped Goose.

If you crash while flying, you probably wont live. If you crash when riding, you have a tiny chance of being a vegetable.

I don't like the chances of either. Will wear a helmet no matter what

Allegedly was going to be all Honda motorcycles in the new Top Gun film but when Tom refused to wear a helmet they pulled the plug and Kawi jumped on it.

Glad they kept that old one. I saw an ad recently where someone was selling a GPZ900 and they mentioned it's from Top Gun.

No way id ride a H2 without gear. But cool that they put it in.

PA resident here, no helmet law in this state but used to be. I was working for a Harley dealership during the time when the law changed going from helmet required to helmet optional. Now I don't need a law to tell me to do something I consider smart and essential but I will never forget one particular customer who was super excited that he would no longer have to wear a helmet. This guy would tell me every time we spoke that as soon as the new bill was signed into law eliminating the helmet requirement he was throwing his helmet out and was never wearing one again. No comment about neighboring states still requiring them.
About 2 weeks before the law passes he comes in and I see him looking at new helmets so I go see if he needs help and what's up. I begin a conversation about him shopping for an item that he has SWORN he will never wear again. He excuses himself to walk out to his truck and comes in carrying the little half shell POS excuse he wore for a helmet and shows me the medium sized rock impregnated into one side of it near where his ear would be. His foot slipped in some loose gravel at an intersection and he'd hit his head along the shoulder of the road when he fell over resulting in a rock actually penetrating the side of his el cheapo swap meet lid.
He commented about just how quickly it had happened and that he was stopped at the time. He'd come to realize what that could have done to him with NO head protection and realized it was a risk he hadn't considered and now was no longer interested in taking. I helped him find a decent DOT approved helmet and when cashiering him gave him a 10% discount on the new helmet.

I'm 8 miles from Idaho, got my scooter serviced over there one time in college and took the chance to ride it around and test it out without a helmet (drove a friends truck over to pick it up from the shop..) that was enough for me to say noooooope to not wearing a helmet.

To each their own though, I guess, if they want to risk themselves like that, they can. Just like they can also eat lead paint chips if they really wanted.

I only not wear mine putting around my neighborhood. I have gone for a real test ride but decided to say fuck it to my goggles one time and the need to safety squint while I was riding SUCKED. Even tried sunglasses before and that was equally shitty.

Back in the day I used to wear open face helmets and raybans until I had a contact get sucked out of one eye on the freeway by the wind. My choices for that day were to ride with one contact and no depth perception or no contacts and blurry vision. Never again. It was the weirdest thing as I had ridden that way for years and never had an issue.

A guy in my parking garage has one, haven't met him in person yet, but everytime I see it I just can't help but think "why.."

That being said, those things are absolute units. Insane things.

Following up on my post from sometime a couple weeks ago where I was looking for a tank bag or other solution to hold my drone controller while riding and doing follow me stuff, I bought a mosko moto nomax. It arrived today, and I am PLEASED! Time to go test fit it!
