No point in giving anything to the insurance company I don't have to, so...

I was gonna say, that car needs a bit more than an appointment with an AC tech...

    Few pics...

My buddy Paul and his 1196 whp 76mm single turbo Supra, he won best build over the weekend at a local show, the girl designed the trophy is blocking the goods.

And when you're so desperate to broverland you keep the stock 235s on your runner but mount your boxes on galvanized posts.

Yea, to access the compressor and the condenser the front clip has to come off.

You have to disassemble that much of the car to do the job -- somewhere there is an engineer laughing right now.

She can block anything she wants, I'll wait patiently.

The galvanized stuff is probably Uni-Strut, plumbers and electricians use it. Wonderful handy stuff, actually just one part of a large (expensive) industrial erector set building system.

Well, my days project took an abrupt left turn, got home at 9:30...

Nothing special, just an oil change, tire rotation and brake inspection on the wife's old Subaru. I was planning on changing the back brake pads and had them in stock -- and here is where the trouble started.

Compressing the piston back in I noticed some brake fluid inside the piston boot, it wasn't leaking on the ground yet at least. The local Auto Zone had one side, another store had the other, a 45 mile drive and $200  later everything is good.

I never drive her car except to work on it, it should come as no surprise that Mrs. Green is not a teenager -- my golly the inside of her car looks like it though.
    :mad: :annoyed::frusty:

I hate a messy car so I did some :washing:.

The cover Art was the lure for the walk in customers.

I loved Outdoor Life back in the sixties before it got all touchy feelie.

My Hunting Mentor had years and years of back issues along with his mounted trophies .

I guess those magazines were my video games it sure kept me quiet.

We didn't get any magazines growing up, the only place I remember having a chance to sit down with one was at the dentist office and about the time you found a good article it was time to go back. I do remember seeing some cool covers though.

I only saw magazines at the barber shop. Somehow I let my friend talk me into installing an A/C unit in Raleigh Wednesday. What was I thinking.

We have a guy detail my wife's RAV4 , I don't clean my trucks very much. After my cancer, I just don't have the arm strength and I don't trust myself with a buffer. :)

Oh man...I haven't had breakfast yet!
Goodmorning crew. Another super nice weather day, guess news said we have the cool/dry air from Canada push down. I'll take it.
I'm going after some fence top rail this morning and seeing how that place is close to Cabellas and Rotellas bakery, going to stop at those two places.
I'd like to buy some primers for reloading if any available, then get some honey-wheat bread from the bakery, some cinnamon raisin too.
I would say that twice a year for waxing a vehicle but have been slacking lately.
Time for coffee and sausage egg and cheese English muffin.

There's a few cool places over in that area.. a couple of local distilleries and a restaurant supply place.. if you're into those kinds of things. This weather is definitely amazing and welcome this time of the year.. but it'll be heating back up by the end of the week.

Now that the College World Series is almost over the weather does weird things.. it's always blazing hot while the CWS is happening here.
