My Amazon package is out for delivery. That was quick, just ordered it yesterday...dum dum..
That's what the guy at O'Reilly called it, none of the 3 auto parts stores had any. They were all fresh out of dum dum. I never knew thats what it was called, but it's the string putty to seal up that blower box on Corvette. I didn't order the actual stuff with dum dum trade mark name but some other similar 3M iirc.
Tree did a number on the fence last Fall. Outside diameter measures like 1.680" and looks to be 1/8" wall or more

 

You should be able to get that from Menards barring any supply chain issues

 

True, I'm sure would have found some somewhere along my travels today but I like to think I get my $$$ worth out of that Amazon Prime cost. That place is addicting in a way....if I'm needing something click click on it's way...but almost to convenient when I get the bill price of gas it dang near cost $5.00 just to make the 7 mile trip into town and back.
I did have some plumber putty on hand but didn't think that would work.

 

That reminds me, I bought some plumbers putty to reseat the kitchen sink drain. Now to find where I put the putty

yeah I was talking about the fence but if you've found some then problem solved! And the plumber's putty would not be a great choice for the corvette!

Possibly, it's for some sort of switch and they keep breaking the plastic cover. It's a hemp company but they make stuff with it. I haven't been to the place so I can't say for sure what it goes on.

 

Then they probably make cloth out of hemp.

 

Probably so, I know they make purses and watch bands from it.
