I don’t think it’s fair to compare deep dish vs a new york slice. You’re not going to snack on a couple slices on the ride home from the pizza place if you’ve got deep dish. I would say deep dish is more like Thanksgiving dinner… takes a long time to cook, you have to wait for it to cool, you’re going to be using utensils. A New York slice made for on the go, that’s why the flop prevention fold is so critical. The guys at the pizza place last night said the biggest problem is people who don’t understand they’re not going to have a pizza ready in 15 minutes. They got all sorts of bad reviews from people who said we had to wait almost an hour for our pizza… Even though they tell every single person and it’s on the menu it takes 45 minutes to the pizza.

I could eat NY slices daily but CHI tryhard pies only every so often.

Well with my day of trading slightly and all in the red I will join the pizza convo. NY style is pizza and better than Chi Town pies. If I am eating pizza I want 3-4 slices. I dont want to sit down with utensils and have one piece and feel like I need a nap or to puke.
