You might have a broken sensor from when you got the tire installed. One of mine broke when installing the tires

Yeah, that's weird. I would take it back to the installer and have them fix it. If they worked before, they should still work.

Edit: but, don't pay anything extra for it. It sounds like they screwed something up.

Let us know if you get it straightened out.

We can help with this if the other shop is unable to confirm the issue. If you are near a discount tire location, our stores would be happy to scan the system at no charge.

I'm considering buying these in the next few days (upgrading from some beat up 285/75/16 Toyos M/T). I did see a few comments through out the thread regarding the poor rain performance on the road, whether it's just those specific sets, certain time of the season where asphalt/water mix, or simply just careless driving...What's the general consensus on these in the rain? The one downside to these that I saw on is the longer stopping distance (209 ft) vs other known competitors. Any thoughts from experienced owners appreciated, thanks.

I also just drove in some wild downpour the other day as well and had no issues. I slowed down the same amount as I would have with the Wildpeaks we have on our 4runner. That could change with higher miles.

For those of you running the 255/85r16, what psi are you running?

I'm curious about the stopping distance listed. What vehicle, tire, size, load rating is this compared to?

Fwiw, I haven't had any issues, but I tend to drive slower and be extra cautious knowing that they are not going to perform like a good AT, let alone an HT..

Actually, I had a situation today where I came up to a stop sign with the sun in my eyes. I was also towing a small boat. I was just cruising along, and then a stop sign was right there! I nailed the brakes, and was actually impressed. They did squawk, but it stopped, and didn't end up in the ditch.

I really think they're nice for an MT. But, I can't compare them to any other MT, so take that with a grain of salt.

I've got mine set at 38psi cold, which makes them run right about 40psi running temp. Mine are new, and I haven't gotten around to chalk testing them yet.

Sold the gx with Yokohamas and got myself a tundra. You know I had to throw some yokos on it too haha. Went with 35x12.50r20 from discount tire. I love these tires
