It's a portable, battery operated sink with output to run a hose and nozzle.

It's not pulling in water any more; battery won't hold more than 12.8V and it's supposed to sit at 13.2V when fully charged.

Ooohhhhh, I thought I was the inside picture of your plasma cutter lol

Check to make sure the pump still spins freely, 12.8v should still be enough juice to get the pump to spin. It'll be a permanent magnet DC motor, so it'll "stick" every 180 degrees of rotation. However your little finger on the impeller is strong enough to overcome the magnets at the poles. If you've gotta put any umph in your finger push the motor is the culprit

The battery has been subjected to really hot temps for many, many months.

There's still suction on the water input, just not as strong.

But yeah I opened it up in case I'd want to put a nice Seaflo in it and repurpose the whole thing.

I'll still try what you mentioned once I pull the pump out.

    He's just very confused.

NC has like 1 hill, and everyone takes turns climbing it in their Grand Marquis.

    How hot is really hot?

Those SLA batteries are dumb (unlike Li-po) and are usually okay with some heavy temp swings. For yard equipment like powered wheelbarrows which uses electric cylinders to dump the bed, SLAs were all we used. And they're subject to 120+ in sheds for the summer

Then again you coulda got a shittily manufactured battery. Especially since you say there's pumping on the inlet, it's just not as strong

    It's also old.

But I mean a nicer pump isn't a bad idea anyway.
