Damn that is a rare bird indeed, pre TRD days (before 1998) the e-locker was something you ordered it with so it wasn't all that common, especially on a reg cab v6. Nice find indeed

The owner told me that the driver's side window didn't work, which especially sucks in my opinion because the A/C needs to be charged and doesn't blow cold; This did not particularly bother the owner. The A/C in my 2010 not only blows ICE COLD, but I have good crank windows in case the A/C does take a dump so I'm not sweating...

The truck is totally stock except for an aftermarket Pioneer stereo with a CD player and AUX input; I'm assuming that this was would have come from the factory with either a single-DIN AM/FM cassette or a double-DIN CD/cassette combo? The 1995 that @Running Board Man used to have apparently came from the factory with a CD/cassette combo...?

Obviously, being a 1996, this truck uses R-134a in the air-conditioner; I looked under the hood of a 1994 Toyota pickup at a car show last November, and it came from the factory with R134a, and the 1992 pickup that I took pictures of last month had R-12. I'm assuming that 1993 would have been the last year for R-12...? As I said before, the A/C in this truck does not presently work; It likely only needs a charge, but as someone whose Tacoma went through an evaporator core replacement back in 2018, I can tell you that there's most definitely a leak somewhere. Honestly, a better case scenario would be that the compressor is locked up and needs to be replaced, which is also not a cheap fix, but it means that the system doesn't have any leaks...

This truck is probably the most expensive 1st gen regular cab Toyoyta ever produced.

I'm guessing, could you get the Super Charger from the factory, or dealer installed accessory?

TRD supercharger was always a dealer add-on

Probably dealer-installed; The owner wasn't even aware that a supercharger was a thing until I told him!

It had every option 1995 had to offer so I wouldn't doubt it... mine had an aftermarket radio by the time I got it

Minus the push button 4x4 and locker

That one didn't have power mirrors which is interesting... never seem power windows without power mirrors either

The door activated dome light in my Tacoma was nice

And then I gave you a nicer aftermarket radio that you promptly drowned in a flash flood... :smack: :D :)

That IS a rare truck! Great find! I've only seen one other in this exact configuration and it was on Bring a Trailer last year. As you would expect is sold for big $$$.

I'm literally just under 6 foot and I've been driving one for almost 13 years! How tall are you?

This is why I put an 8-inch subwoofer in my truck; I was afraid of losing even a tenth of an inch!
