Morning crew. I meant to take I29 to work this AM but habit went the other way down 75.
I take I29 when need gas and cigarettes. Missouri taxes makes these things cheaper.
haven't looked at assignments for today..
Should have taken this week off in addition to next week. Going to be nice having a week off.

 

We took a gas class at the FD once, it was a 3 day class in the evenings. The teacher was always yelling "you will burn your donkey"

It was a very informative class and he had me scared to light the grill when we were done.

 

We got a woman gonna work the store for us a couple days and we are headed to North Myrtle Beach for a few days to visit my aunt and watch fireworks on the beach

 

I'm thankful to have a place to be able to hunt and teach my kids about hunting, if we get one or 2 good ones it's just icing on the cake

I have some family coming up from Arizona and cousins son getting married I think the 9th...following weekend anyway.

My wife drugged me up last night and I feel a lot better. Headaches gone and sinuses are dried up . Didn't sleep very well tho . Thx.

Promised my friend I would help him on an A/C job in Raleigh tomorrow, so I've got to get myself together.

 

I saw on the news where an Amtrak train hit a dump truck in Missouri. Looked pretty bad.

 

What are you doing up this way?

When I was in Georgia last week it was 103 in Fargo. Columbus was 101.

 

Headed back from glacier NP. On my way to see me aunt.

I saw you were down there, thought it was funny, that's about 30min from home. Weather is great this morning. Problem with down south is it never cools off. I'm not looking forward to it.

 

We have a broken ball-screw shaft here at work. I don't think we have the proper equipment to manufacture this thing..
I told them last week that it is possible to purchase this ball-screw shaft from Grainger. I've machine the ends for bearings before and recall that material harder than the hubs of hell. At lest the outside layer was, recall the center portion not too bad. It would need threaded and key cut on one end if we can find the correct diameter and pitch, thread left or right..
