I figured out it's not really intermittent. Just cranking it up, the flashing OFF stayed off. As soon as I started driving it came back on. It did the same thing this morning when I removed the compressor (which was a pain!).

The cluster was replaced by us in 2016. Since it's a fairly new cluster, I will not be desoldering it. I'll go back to ignoring it.

Yea my compressor is still holding on. After cutting bumpers I messed with it till I wanted to Starr throwing things. There is apparently a fastner up above that I couldn't or get to.

Any of you guys running stiffer springs (non-airbag gx460) see a big drop off in ride quality when unloaded?

You have to remove the plastic tank attached to it. I had to crawl into the area the spare tire used to be and slowly using a small ratcheting 10mm wrench to remove the top and bottom bolts. With that tank out of the way, the 3 screws holding the compressor are easily removed. It seems very apparent that part was installed on the frame before the body was attached. :frusty:

got my Wilco hitchgate Switch on. besides being overpriced IMO - this thing is great. nice welds, good powder coating, actually very easy to operate. this "Switch" model sits closer to the body to eliminate most peoples complaints about the wilco, which is that is sticks out so far. happy to be able to carry a full size spare again

Picked up a Metal Tech receiver. Rated at 5k I think. Should be much better clearance that what I have. Only $129.

Any of you 460'ers have a tailgate table that you recommend? Kaon seems like the best option but wondering if there's something less expensive that works as well... Victory and Orangebox are out of the budget for this, too.

I really like the victory unit. I wish I would have waited and gotten that one.

That paracord is only 1 piece, it goes thru the plastic to the other side. Then just screwed the piano hinge into the plastic. Fairly sturdy but I probably wouldn't put a ton of weight on it.

    And folds up like this:

    [IMG]0404211216a

I drilled an extra hole in the washer to keep it closed. I really didn't like any of the latch systems I saw for those DIYers. The paracord stretches a little so you can pull it tight against the door.

Going to see what I have lying around and if there's anything I can use to make a decent unit, otherwise might snag a cheap eBay/Amazon one and beef it up
