Showing all the geared boys, 1 gear still gets the job done at the Bailey Hundito.

Rocking a non politically correct Ibis Tranny 29  with a -1deg Works Components headset, SID Ultimate 120 and 32/20 gearing.

    Noooo!

All good man I'll be up there again. I think I'm gonna try to talk my wife into heading up to bogus basin for the day.

Got some prep done on the steed...

I feel like I gave up a little too early on these rear pads

Picked up a new to me Sherpa from a buddy... This rack is so nice in comparison to the old yakima I was running!

The gravity stuff at Bogus is pretty good. The lifts should be running but there are plenty of XC trails that start right at the lodge too. If you go on a weekend, the restaurant will be open with beer and food flowing right by the parking lot. This was about a week ago...

There are also a number of trails accessible from Bogus like Mahalo, Eastside, Sweet Connie, etc. but all will require a climb back up to the starting point.

    Mufuggin spooky out here!

Jumped a deer on the tight downhill, but the didnt recognize it and it didnt move till it was behind me so all I saw was peripheral moving brown in cougar country. Nearly inspired some other "moving brown"

Tray racks can be hit or miss, I've had Kuats/Yakimas do funny things too. But ive always secured the rear wheel with the ratchet strap, and its prevented the bike from getting too out of shape. To not install/use the rear wheel strap and be surprised when your bike falls off is silly. It looks like a 1up but doesnt function the same, so use the wheel strap that was included.

100%, knowing your gear and a little extra attention goes a long way. That’s the reason I run a u lock to keep my 1UP from walking out of the hitch should it come loose which of course it “won’t”. :D

That is a no-brainer. I definitely just bought one but I'll be looking in my inbox for a "Hi, sorry but due to an internal error we'll need to refund your order"

Also I'm pretty sure there is a lawsuit against that rack by 1-Up
