    Way back when, when I used to work at the old country buffet. These two dudes that looked like the boys from Deliverance, we nicknamed them "the hot dog water people'. Super nice dudes, just had an odd scent to them.

    Granted it was the old country buffet, so smelling like hot dog water wasn't the worst of it.

    Got to go once, but just the zen of diving was my drug of choice for a long time.

    No joke, I have a closet full of gear. Last time I serviced my regs was 6 years ago. My dive computer/pressure gauge batteries are probably long gone.

    There used to be an old work dock from the 70's when they dredged the Great South Bay, right by the Robert Moses monument on Fire Island. It was destroyed in a hurricane and most of it was sunk in about 20 feet of water. We would walk in from shore and spear Black Fish. Last time I put gear on was about 30 years ago..lol
