It’s a crazy bike for sure. With that being said he is planning on it being his daily in Atlanta traffic

Fits well, doesn’t hit my belly, only contacts my thighs a little when I stand, but surprisingly not in a bad way. Kind of nice to have a bit to lean in to. Lots of little surprise features (like a velcro holder for extra contacts for some reason?) 9/10, would buy again.

 

Several years ago one of those showed up at a "biker breakfast' in Ephrata, PA with a turbo on it.

 

Grabbed a Tusk tank bag. I was torn b/t the small and large, but I found a pic of a crf250l with the large, so I bought it

 

You guys and your “adventure” bikes. I need one! Or I should probably ride the bikes I have. Maybe I will throw my daughter on the back of the Grom with some goggles and go for a cruise.

 

I would love to have a grom. Monkey bikes are so cool, and I think they're funny as hell.

 

I'm right with you on this! Have 3 bikes now but nothing dirt oriented at all. Looking at everybody's posts and getting the itch for one. Problem is garage is full and wallet is empty.

 

I have the small one. Been waiting since March for them to get back into stock.

 

I'm hoping I didn't mess up by buying the large......guess I'll find out when it shows up

 

I think the base area is the same, its just deeper. I went with the small just to hold wallet, keys, pack of gum, etc. Im about to head out for a ride to return the front tube I bought (and go drool at the fancy BMWs). Ill snap a picture for you of the inside. I also keep the rain fly for the bag in there, so it might look "full"

 

It hits my crotch when i stand. But I still need to fine tune the position

 

Mine will hold about the same....with a G43X thrown in too.

 

Anyone here ever DIY a go kart? HF just released their Ghost engine and accessory kit and I kinda want to just for the challenge.

i know those little engines are nothing new but it just seems so convenient to get the kit instead of piecing it together yourself like before.

 

Used to build some pretty cool ones in our younger years!

Been wanting to weld up a battery drill powered one for my 3yo nephew here if I can find the time haha.

Haha. I figured you’d be interested. We frequent a lot of the same threads so I know you have the KSAs to do it too.

 

Spencer linked it above. There’s a few YouTube videos on the kit and people report it being “very peppy” and “a little scary”.
