tacoma squeak

i know that all toyotas have that certain "squeak" after gettin muddy. mine is doing it pretty bad right now. any suggestions on stopping that?

 

Same thing happend to me after mudding the first time. I just washed it really good and greased up the steering stops.

 

Is it coming from the rear? Do you have the 4 leaf pack? If not check into the TSB.

 

4 leaf paks squeak!! Its a "flaw" in the manufacture of the springs. The ends of the leafs rub on each other. My dealer greased them and it stopped, probably not permanent but I know how they did it. I saw a post on this site or TN where some one actually removed the springs, took them apart and put a neoprene bushing between the leafs!

 

its in both front and rear but really bad in the rear

 

grease it up man. Get your hands dirty!

 

My haven't squeak since I gotem. Knock on wood. My other taco you could here coming from a mile away.
