That's really interesting! I was under the impression "Top Tier" was actually better fuel and not just additives (secret sauce). I've also never really thought about how a pipeline could carry different types of fuel. Appreciate the info!

We've heard that a lot. Never once had something fall out of my personal truck (unless the wind blew it out like a hat or something)
    Factory approved use.

    Nice work!

I absolutely love my CaliRaised premium roof rack. I'm surprised that more people don't run this rack! The brightness of the side lights did leave a little to be desired (they're certainly not "alley lights"), but they're great for lighting up the ground/general area while camping. The ones on the driver side sit below my CVT awning when it's mounted to the rack, which is really nice for lighting up the area under the awning for cooking, etc. I don't think I've ever used the rear ones other than while on a dusty trail during the daytime, to help people behind me see my location a little better.

I did something similar to your wiring setup, but I didn't use the KC wire hider. I ran two 12 gauge wires (coated with thick black silicone insulation) up the driver side and tucked them deep into the channel between the windshield and weather strip. Then I installed black heat shrink tubing over 4-conductor 16 gauge bonded trailer wire, and ran it up the passenger side tucked in the same way. They terminate into waterproof connectors on the roof, which came in handy when I had to have the windshield replaced. I was able to just unplug them all, and pull the wires out of the gap and roll them up into the engine compartment for the day.

Passenger side replacement headlight came in, and all is back to normal with my Taco. Big thanks to the parts guys at Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach, SC for making the return and replacement process hassle free.

if you can get a buff-pad. try to run it see how better it is. if not get one of those Plastix "headlight" restore bottles with a microfiber you can polish the section to get it as good as you can. then you can make and assessment.
i manage to hit a orange barrier and tough i had to replace or repaint the whole bumper., i just use the plastix it remove all the orange and was lucky no paint pealed off.

I would note that base fuels also have additives (detergent) because it is regulated they do so. The proprietary blend of detergent and amount in excess of the required minimum is what differs by station.

The black you see in the image is missing paint, the car that hit me was red. I opened a claim, I'll probably take it in next week to get an estimate since I'm taking vacation time next week, I will see what they tell me about wait time, etc. I would prefer to remove the bumper cover leave it with them, and drive the truck home-anyone ever hear about someone doing that?

I used low gloss Armor All so UV protection is still in full effect. :D

Some stations/brands will also mandate better filtering within the dispenser cabinet as well. The minimum for US Gasoline is 10 micron per NIST requirements as long as the locale as adopted the standard. I do stick to the newer name brand stations... cleaner/newer tanks and equipment should result in less junk in my tank:). AND, I always avoid the station right after it's taken a fuel drop because it stirs the tank and sediment. Best to let it settle out and reduce the amount of sub 10 micron gunk that ends up in your tank!

Dropped mine off at the dealership at 0630 since I start work before they open at 0700 to get the fuel pump and 3rd brake light recall taken care of. Got at text at 0907 it was ready. Picked it up after work and now I'm good to go. Never had issues with the fuel pump and luckily my 3rd brake light never leaked. Either way, glad that's done.

When I had my fuel pump changed I got a call before lunch. My truck was ready and I said really? The service manager (who is a friend of mine) said when you do as many as we do you get good at it. He said it was good money while it lasted probably running out of them. Most have been done.
I was surprised at how quick they were.

I was also surprised how quickly it was done. They said it would be about 3 hours for both recalls but it only took 2 hours. I figured that was partly because they have had a lot of practice doing these recalls lately.
