Rear lights are done. Barely more complicated install than the fronts. I removed the center console and unbolted both seats. Wire came under the carpet and up through a pre-existing hole at the inner-most rear seat bracket. There's a perfect spot for it. Then looped it over the center console and through the same hole in the carpet on the driver side.
The velcro pieces are so strong that it pulls the tape off the light as opposed to the releasing from the carpet on the seat lol. My suggestion would be to zip tie them on after you adhere the piece w/ the tape. Also leave some slack in the wiring otherwise when you move the seat you'll constantly be ripping of the light. I chose to zip tie the wire bundle to a piece under seat.
Hope that all makes sense. Pics of where I ran all wires and aftermath....

Ran the wire from the footwell under the carpet. Had to pull the side panels in order to do this
    IMG_0820.jpg

Used all pre-existing holes in the carpet to run the wires. Right in front of pass. seat is where the first wire comes out from underneath the carpet.
    IMG_0822.jpg

Here's the hole in the carpet that I used.
    IMG_0824.jpg

    Up and over!
    IMG_0827.jpg

You can see the wire running below the center console, once it's been reinstalled...

just got mine today! Going to install front and rear tomorrow. When installing rears do they piggyback off the front plug or do they come off the front lights somehow? Probably a stupid question

Nah, not a stupid question. They daisy chain off the passenger side. Youll see once you open everything up. It’ll make sense.
if you route them the same way I did you’ll use the two longest extensions for the rears. One to go pass. front to pass. rear and the other from pass side to drive side.

Thanks for the pictures! I wish I could be more helpful with a third Gen  We’re still working on our formal instructions, so it’s great when people chime in with what they did. There’s also something really satisfying about people getting excited over a new mod for a truck from 2005!

Got mine the other day. I haven't had a chance to install them yet, but I'm very pleased with finished product and the first impression. It's clearly a well made and thought out product. Excited to install it in the coming days.

This looks like a great and well awaited product. Saw all pics posted by everyone and definitely interested. But like @Steelhead Bum mentioned, a white/red switchback would be AWESOME! Will this be in the works if enough interest is showed? @kmorgan3

We've discussed it and plan to look into it after we get the 4Runner kits rolled out. We'd have to get a good gauge for demand, since it wouldn't be as simple as just designing a switchback strip light. We'd have to re-design part of the harness and whatnot, so we'd have to really think about how to offer it for all platforms without having to go back to the drawing board for all of them. Ideally it'd be something simple we could offer as an add-on to people that already purchased a kit so we don't see like 1,000 single color footwell kits go on the used market from people ditching them for a new kit that's incompatible with their old one  Give us some time -- 4Runners are almost done.

So I got them all installed. Took the seats out and the dash etc. when doors open they work great. When headlights are on they don’t work. Any ideas?

    UPDATE:
The lowest setting was just so dim that I couldn’t tell they were on until it was pitch black. Will adjust slightly after work. Rookie premature mistake!

Love the blue! A great full and vibrant color! Mounted the dimmer on a bracket for the brake pedal, hidden and accessible at the same time. Thanks @kmorgan3!

The instructions have been overhauled and the link is on the front page. Total install time is about 15 minutes; we found a way to install them without dropping the dash or doing anything crazy. Incredibly simple. Photos are in the instructions!

I am just wondering if I have inadvertently turned off NIGHT mode. the LED's do not come on when I have my parking light's on (Dome light off), and I have checked to make sure I have not adjusted the brightness level so low that you can't see it :)! COURTESY mode works flawlessly.

What color lights did you go with? That looks like the color I want but not sure which color option it is?
