My only complaint with The Old Man is that each episode feels way too short ugh. Wish they were an hour each.

    Man from Toronto was disappointing.

It didn't even pretend to be anything but a tired phone-in effort.

I know this thread is about what you're currently watching, but just for somethin different what's your favorite movie/TV show of all time? Might help give some ideas for others to watch

For me, it will always be The Wire. Hard to top that series. Sopranos comes close.

I loved the first 2 seasons of Dexter, 3-5 were pretty good but then it went down fast imo. But the first two were excellent

The newest one was a much better ending than it got initially lol

Yeah The Old Man is off to a good start. Also hammered out The Bear in two days. Both are from FX and streaming on Hulu.

I was definitely aboard the LOST train back when it was on tv. Felt like the end of an era when the finale aired. I dunno though why it doesn't stand out for me so much anymore, maybe I should go back and rewatch it sometime

To add to the favorite of all time list:

Seinfeld, seen every episode probably at least 10 times yet I still love it. Rescue Me was a great early 2000’s series. The rest are kind of in line with a lot that have been said. Sopranos, The Wire, Dexter, the first few seasons of The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad. Entourage came out just at the right time in my life so I enjoyed it but it’s no masterpiece by any means. Band of Brothers was pretty awesome! Ozark had me but then they took like 2 years between seasons and I fell off. Prob not in my favorites list but deserves honorable mention cause I feel as though it was one of HBO’s first big series but I liked that prison show OZ back in the day. Six Feet Under was pretty good. HBO really couldn’t miss for a while there. I’m sure theres probably a few others I have forgotten but those are the tops.

As far as movies go the list is too long.

Trying to get back into Westworld, but the show has been pretty mediocre after season 1. Not much else on besides The Boys. Has anyone seen The Bear?

I liked The Bear but I grew up in Chicagoland and have been in F&B for 20 years so it was interesting to me on those levels. Might not appeal to others the same.

    The boys is OK.

It’s mostly stupid fun as a violent, gory, sexual deconstruction of the superhero genre.

If you’ve read the comic books, they make radical departures in plot and characters which is going to cause a lot of problems for them if they plan on ending the series the same way the comic books ended.
