Thanks for the input my brothers, will have to think a bit more on this topic.

 

I noted a year ago that Hooke Road never tested the rack on an access cab truck - they put the shortened rack on a double cab and photoshopped out the rear door handle. A year later they still haven't updated the pictures.

Beware the rack is heavy - almost 60 lbs, plus whatever cargo you carry up there, at the highest point on the truck.

 

It actually looks better in person. Looks way too far back in the stock photo

 

As others have commented when drilling the holes you are scary close to your airbags, when I did mine I remove the headliner and also sound proofed the roof of the truck, Very easy and worthwhile,

 

I noted that too but figured my truck is black so you wouldn’t notice.

 

I remember reading that. The look is nice and beefy and I did notice that it was a bit heavy.

 

If it helps this thread has some cad files to make your own rack. The price of the Amazon rack is hard to beat, but another option for ya.

Time has finally commeth! Now to figure out what the + and O mean on the leafs?

 

O i believe means on spec and the + means over spec for spring rates. So put the + on the driver side to combat taco lean (arrow pointing forward)

 

Is it possible its enough to make of setting a notch on the fronts would be moot?

 

Not sure, i didnt have the lean bad enough to notice when i was on 5100’s and now im on threaded fox shocks so it’s never been a problem for me

i believe you can get a 1/4” spacer if needed.
Im sure someone else will chime in with more info

Oh and @Shveet , while your way up there, you should try some of the traditional Inuit foods.
One that really stands out is called "stinky flipper". See if some of the locals have any.
That will be a dish you'll tell your friends about.
