I think that is the same deer, not sure where his buddy is. I have 3 cameras up, one sends pictures to my phone. These 2 are on different parts of the food plot. I sure hope the kids can both get em a good one this season

Which part broke/stuck? I’m going to guess - gearbox side, CV damage.

Yes, the part at the gearbox. He said he welded a chain to it and couldn't get it out

Most of the bucks where we hunt have short brow tines, glad to see this one has some longer ones. I'd shoot it too, I see back straps :D

Yesterday I gave engineers a repair plan (2 actually), did a little research and measuring for a replacement ball screw, then went into the shop and started making some legs for the top half of that pump case that was weld repaired.
I get a email with two more work orders to look at and sign off on (after I correct them), now today I'm scheduled to start on a prep operation for some covers. Sometimes I feel like just sit here and mash them until they tell me exactly what to do and how.
Seems like those types are who get promoted around here.

It’s likely twist-locked. Just like when you get a socket stuck on a nut. Some back and forth rotational movement will likely unbind.

Do you know what kind of vehicle it is? There was a Ford that you had to pull one axle out & drive the other out with a notched pin that went around the differential center pin & that was the only way to get it out. I had a u shaped puller on a slide hammer that I tried several times & the only way it would come out is hit it from inside the diff.

    Reserected from the dead.
We always just used a sledge hammer and chain.

Poor man's slam hammer. Only limited by the size of the sledge you owned.

I don't know what kind of vehicle it is. He wants to attach this part I make to his slide hammer. Hopefully it'll work for him, I don't know though :notsure:

Here's the tool I was talking about this one was for Ford Escort & mercury Lynx it worked real good on those axles if you could find the center pin dimension it would be easy to make---OTC 7140

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I have never found the horns to taste good .Horns looked good when I was young I was happy with a nice rack at 16 one was enough .

To me the stalking and sneaking around was the fun part getting lined up to get a good shot.

Then up here the Bucks are run so hard the adrenaline soaked meat tastes really bad so many think that is the normal taste .

A nice relaxed doe is much better if your meat hunting at least for me.

Almost had another encounter one just missed hitting the left front in the drive way. The more harvested the safer my vehicles.
