It's summer we can go outside :D

Niiiiice. PA alcohol laws confused the hell out of me. I found a brewery that also sold macro brews when I was out at aoaa so I was fine but it was shenanigans. Lesson learned - bring your own bud light I guess.

PS I found Busch light apple! It's actually really good. Way better than you'd expect, but at the end of the day it still....Busch light.

    Some stuff
Well, I keep to myself as most know..
    But, since some know...

We had a wreck 2 weeks ago today.

She just came home from hospital Friday night. 2 surgeries down, and a wheelchair for at least another 5 weeks.

And to add to it, her father passed Thursday afternoon.

I've either been at the hospital, taking care of stuff, or being a neurotic headache needing distraction.

    All that is left20220613_121727.jpg

    Of this
    20220408_153816.jpg

Helmets did their job. No permanent damage other than some hardware.
We will both fully recover. There is more that I will discuss as I am willing if anyone is curious enough.. but, it'll be in time. Still a lot to process...

Just been keeping it to myself for now.
This is my first "public" statement regarding this.
Everything right now is taking care of her, kids, house, etc. Not working(couldn't anyway, at least not effectively) right now.

The "mod crew" knows, as I was there with them a week ago.. but..

Post isn't for attention, just statement of fact.

Can you imagine how much uglier I'd be without it???

Mine is the Carbon Fiber, hers is white.

Have always worn a lid. Even in the South Texas heat and humidity.

I can still use my brain to make money, and support my family, even if I lose some physical abilities.

There is risk in everything we do. Only reason I haven't been out on one of the other bikes, is I can't hold one upright at this point. And decided to wait until I get full clearance from ortho, before I try ANYTHING.

Thank you all. My main concern is her speedy recovery, and some semblance of return to normal:fingerscrossed:

Travel day for me. Got home, picked the kids up from camp and swung over to Milford Bike to drop off some upstate VT brews. Work tomorrow is going to suck after last weekend!
Jeez man, glad you guys are on the mend and I wish you both the best with your recoveries! Good on you both for having your gear on!

Oh I didn't know that you guys were staying that long!

On another note. If anybody is ever in this area I would highly recommend eating at that brewery! The food and the beer was great!
