Finished out the day yesterday and got home and dove into reorganizing the garage and nearly finished my shelves I've been building. Added a chainsaw holder and a rack for my sawhorses. Need to make another shelf probably and I'll be making a stand for a rubbermaid cabinet I got a long time ago to store paint in. I've never used it since it sits on the floor and you can't open the doors as they rub the ground. So that'll keep me busy. Also need to see about making a couple of raised planters for my wife.

My first CV axle change I had the idea to use a slide hammer to pull the axle out other then pulling the axle apart it did not work well.

I made a long pry bar I could tap without damage and pry it worked great for popping the c clip out.

That made the job at least for me so simple .

I told my boss one day I think I was coming down with something. He asked what it was. Told him I think it's anal glaucoma, can't see my ass being around here much longer today :D

I used to work with a guy by the name of Robert and he'd always say "I've got a seeing problem, I just can't see myself coming in to work today."

Some Bosses would have said you can have 3 days off without pay to help you feel better.

They would not care if your coworkers needed to pull double shifts to cover you being out.

Anybody here take Tremfya? I've been fighting psoriasis for years and my doctor prescribed me Tremfya about a month ago. Took the 2nd injection yesterday. I can already tell a difference just from the 1st one 4 weeks ago. Hopefully it'll be cleared up soon :fingerscrossed:

My boss is quite used to my antics by now, just laughed and shook his head. I wouldn't ever leave the crew like that unless I'm sick or the like...

Now, I scheduled two weeks vacation for the next coming weeks. Wasn't too happy about that one, but it's my vacation time to use, sooooo...

Thank goodness my insurance is covering this and I was able to fill out and get approved for a $5 copay, if not for that I would just be itchy.

The 1st time was my first time ever giving myself a shot, it was pretty painless. Yesterday when I did it, it felt like a bee sting. Not sure what I did differently

Employee problems used to make me very angry :annoyed::rocket: ---:rant:

However, in my no longer employed state it no longer matters to me --- and my blood pressure is lower. :)

:101010: for the picture that's worth a thousand words.
I have hopes that my son grows out of his not so productive ways. It doesn't help a kid when he wants wants wants and a momma that can't say no.
I just try to look back at my own youth and not figured out a better way to live until about age between 24-26 yrs. Big difference though is I've always had a job and could say about 99% reliable.

There's a guy who comes in our store, late 50's early 60's. He will buy beer and dip, he and I got to talking one day and he said the beer was for his son and he and I shared our soberness stories.

Monday his son came in (early 40's) and you could tell he'd been drinking, dad was driving like he always is. His dad pulled up to get gas, his son was cussing him and mad as a hornet about something. His dad came in and looked me in the eye and said "sometimes I'm ashamed to call him my son".

When he walked out I got to thinking about it and thought he is enabling him to carry on down this path he is on. He can't complain about what his 40 something year old son is doing if he is right there with him letting him do it.

If I ever talked to my dad the way that guy did I wouldn't have been able to sit down or walk.

    Food for thought :D

Did you wipe the injection area w alcohol before the stick? If so did you let it dry?

You ALWAYS want to let it dry. Ask me how I know :angrygirl:
