It may be $114, probably won't be painted though.

It’s only 3” or so. I’m not doing any serious crawling, just spend a lot of time on heavy mud/clay that tends to tear up the rocker, so this is hopefully a budget solution.

I used the diode dynamics harness but cut the lead for turning the lights on independently and instead used an add a fuse on the power outlet #2 fuse to power that side of the switch and the switch illumination.

Those appear to be the same ones I have on mine. I replaced the hardware with stainless, hoping it holds up better against Ohio salt/brine. They make washing the roof easy, and should help avoid door dings…..

They also send pigs through pipelines. Pigs are packages with various purposes such as cleaning the line, checking wall thickness, etc. Early pigs were made from straw, barbed wire, and leather and squealed when traveling through the pipes, hence the pig name. They are now called Pipeline Inspection Gauges or Pipeline Intervention Gauges to justify calling them PIGs. Where you inject the pig into a pipeline is called a pig launcher.

    The more you know....

Also called sender, and receiver at the destination. Launcher (in Canada) is mostly the mechanical unit that automates or assists with sending.

Yes. I received a recall notice from Toyota in the mail. Didn't need to show it to the dealer. They looked up my VIN and said my truck qualified. I wouldn't think it would matter where it was made but I'm not 100% sure. I'd check with the dealer if I were you just to be sure.

I have to add a smart pig that can be tracked in the pipeline. The naming always cracks me up smart pig and dumb pig.

We traded ours in right before "dieselgate." I kick myslef every once in ahwile about that. (Although I was already a little paranoid about the HPFP grenading and sending shrapnel through the system. I filled up at the same high-traffic diesel pump for every fill, kept all fuel receipts, etc. and was looking into adding the pre-pump filter modification before my wife could not stand it anymore. I guess I bought some piece of mind instead of paying for a Tacoma...for a couple of years at least, then our 4Runner showed up on the fuel pump recall...)

yup we used to catch pigs every month at the Kinder Morgan terminal worked at years ago. The smart pigs were around 7 feet long and looked like a robots dick. Little wheels on suspension all around them that would record when they dipped outward, pinpointing an anomoly. The carhodic protection crew would then inspect the anomaly and determine if the pipe had been damaged or if there was excessice wear/thinning of the walls. Pretty sketchy opening those pig traps to pull them out of the line knowing only one hydraulic MOV was standing between you and a line running at 4,000 barrels/hr. A little flag would swing up when the pig hit the trap. To alert the operators catching the pig, the station that launched it would typically pack the line upstream with a 500-1000 barrel slug of water. That would be a sure sign to get ready for it.

How was the install? Easy breezy or difficult?

You have to cut the dust cover, grind the knuckles, replace brake lines, bleed both inner and outer parts of the new caliper, besides that it’s just a normal brake swap.

It’s easy but also time consuming. Took me about 3 hours.
