Why the hell would anyone spend that much $$$ to have the end result of a totally useless truck. Useless on road, useless off road. The owner obviously has LDS.

As someone who restores old cars as a hobby I know when you do a built it is an extension of the vision you have for the car. I never followed trends and built my cars to my tastes which is obviously what this guy had done with his Tacoma. I think it's really neat and a lot of work and imagination went into that truck. I doubt he will get bored and sell it for half of what he put into it. I have kept most of the cars I had done for years including the 65 Galaxie 500 I sold last fall for 30 years. I'm getting a hankering for a new project. Not sure what yet except it will be a small truck.

Smaller wheels, bigger tires, and it’s a beaut. Great for Florida mud and sand, from mud holes to mall crawling, what’s wrong with that. Or maybe from beach to Disney, you never know.

You know you want to drive it, just to see wtf it’s like.

    I do.

Pa has some different laws. Is there no requirement for a front plate there still?

Thankfully, not required in PA. As for tires sticking out if you live in snow country you'd understand why tires sticking out is not good for safety especially, of other vehicles.
