Thanks for looking and asking. That may give some info into what I'm trying to teach myself but might be duplicating resources I already have so no need to follow through (unless he really wants to get rid of em lol).

    Appreciate the support!

Im still doing a bit of that.
LBJ's are going on with the LCA's, tie rod ends and new alignment hardware for the reinforcements cam tabs.

I'd like to weld on the spindle gussets at the same time I do those, I'm assuming it's probably best to replace the wheel bearings after welding the spindles so I should probably order those with the dust covers /oil seals. New hubs might be a little excessive but I'm considering it as well. (I'm open to suggestions on parts I may have missed)

The timing belt and water pump are nagging the back of my mind as the next step in the anti shitbox campaign. I haven't personally done a timing belt in over 10 years and that was a Honda civic so it probably doesn't count

See, if you're counting all that as part of your "doing more maintenance than the other 3" then I get it.

I don't see why anyone would buy LCA's as that's not a maintenance item.

Tie rod ends are just front end items like ball joints and the sort.

Reinforcement cam tabs and gussets for your spindles are mods.

I did LCAs, they do wear, the shock tabs actually will crack off them eventually, or the BJ portion rips out. But mine had bushings that were so seized I was ruining the arm trying to rescue them

The LCA's are a bit rusty, the bushings are shot and I know it's been wrecked so it's a little bit of a piece of mind thing, in the future I'll just replace the bushings

the ball joint boots for the tie rod ends are also torn and leaking grease so they are on their way out

Maintenance - modtenance - piece of mindtenance.

That's why I was disappointed when my shock tab was bent in shipping.
    IMG_20220623_154402.jpg
I was thinking about adding a small gusset to the tab for a little strength because it will always be a weakened spot in my mind (OCD thing)

I enjoy prototyping when the customer is buying the unit no matter what, makes me feel like I work in an industrial hot rod shop.
