We lost our dog cocoa a few months ago. she was the second dog my wife and i got together, cocoa was 6 months old when we got her. She passed at a little over 13 years old. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do was take her for her last vet appointment. Adding this to the loss of your mother must be the worst thing ever. My condolences my friend, you've been through the ringer, and I'm sorry to hear it.

    Reserected from the dead.
    Sorry to hear.

    Our sincerest condolences.

Just went thru that with my dad early 2021

I got lucky. He wanted his body donated to a med school.

I'm probably the only person who can claim they got their father into a Big Ten university medical school.

During the height of the COVID, many places were not taking bodies for science. U of Michigan had no fear.

Hopefully your mom had her affairs in order. ( My dad did not).

    Again, sorry for your loss.

People way underestimate how hard the loss of a pet can impact you, even years after the event.

Truly sorry to hear this. Best wishes to you and your family, and sorry about your dog as well.

I also apologize for my previous post, I didn't read ahead, it was poor timing on my part.
Take care of yourself and your family. If you need to blow off steam, alot of us have been thru the same thing, I'm certain none of us would mind listening.

    Much appreciated.
No worries on my part. Besides, it helps take my mind off of things for a second.

I don't usually get too queasy from pictures like that but holy crap that had to have stung a bit!

    Goodmorning crew.
@Fargo Taco , sorry to hear of mother's passing. You did good to make that trip. Hang in there.

So back in late 80's I bought a old Barracuda a 1963 mid year car the 330 something off the line. 273 Commando engine and 4 speed. I give less than $500.00 for it. Owner was coworker, said he was half mile from home and lost all electrical and been sitting since. I went with tool box, battery, fuel can etc. Found a wire that burnt on exhaust, patch that wire up and drove it home. As to the cost of a window for it, another friend (older than me) said when he was a kid and mowing lawns that a rock flew out and damaged the back window. So that probably in late 70's I recall him saying then the back window alone cost $300.00
It was a neat old car that needed some work. I never got around to bor could afford to fix it up. Signed title over to my Uncle when I moved back to Nebraska in 1991. (From Phoenix AZ)
