Ah, yea, then stick it to the man! Not really frettin' it, I just like adding a little drama [pronounced Draa mah real nasally] from time to time. It's not the Fumoto. :fingerscrossed:

    A) I don't why this was leaking being on a vertical surface like that. Are you sure that isn't the fill plug you keep taking pics of by mistake?

    3) "Done" yea, famous last words...........

Without trying to always sound like a tin-foil-hat-wearing-paranoid-person, seeing how you gots that valve from Amazon, I would be willing to entertain the thought that you got a knock off part, seeing how amazon is the king of sellers of knock off parts via 3rd party vendors, only to be outdone by fleabay. I have no personal experience with those valves but when I was into VW's ( especially the TDi variants) those valves were on almost every Jetta/Golf that I ran across and they always seemed to work well. I'm perfectly ok with using the stock drain plug on my 'Yoders, they seem to do a good job of keeping the oil inside of where it belongs.

You know what, that thought never even crossed my mind! The one I bought ships from and is sold by Amazon, if that accounts for anything at all. It was in clean packaging and never appeared to give me the idea that it could be a knock-off, though I'm no Fumoto expert either. I've ran the OEM drain plug since I bought the truck in 2013 and have had good results since then so I'll definitely sleep better tonight knowing I've got another Toyota product back in there. Who knows though. At least I can say that I've tried it and didn't like it and will know for the future, so I'm happy about that.

The "tin-foil-hat-wearing-paranoid-person" comment made me laugh out loud, I'm gonna have to use that one sometime, hahaha.

Engine oil drain plug, not the front diff fill plug. Sorry for the confusion!

If any of yous have a Lidl food market near you and you enjoy a popsicle, I can highly recommend their house brand of popsicle. I was an Otterpop snob but I couldn't find any this year so out of desperation ( and the fact that the bag was only $1.79) I gave them a try. I can honestly that they have more flavors in the bag and the flavor is stronger then the old Otterpops. That is all...
