I had been doing 40k miles a year, now I’m at like 10-15k. Even with fuel prices and the difference in mpg (which isn’t THAT much), the annual savings in insurance & registration more than offset the difference in fuel cost. Plus now I’ve got the money for a truck that was mostly sitting gathering dust.

 

I'm looking at getting one of these little TW200 thingies if I can actually find one to purchase

bruh i have a set i love those things haha id wear them and ride if i didnt want to loose them or my foot on those pegs i have!

 

ive heard they are decent little bikes just very slow... id look for a drz tbh more useful and fun

 

If I get another bike it'll probably be 250cc. Keep going smaller...

I'm looking at 300 to 400 cc dual sports too, but I don't do highway riding as a rule and I'm about to move to an area where the roads aren't forgiving.

A KLX 300SM is on my short list as well. It'll depend a lot on what I can actually find to buy.

 

Lots of forgiving roads in and around Rolla. Was just there today

I think Rolla actually has pretty nice roads. I'd like to spend my leisure time in the areas farther South into banjo river country, that's all I meant.

Passing through on the way home. Stopped at Scruffys/American Taco and man.... That is so e damn good eating.

Area south of there is 100% gorgeous

 

Shhh... don't tell anybody. It's one of the few areas in the US that hasn't been ruined by an influx of trashy tourists lol

 

Judging by the amount of combines, twisty roads, and Confederate flags, it won't be anytime soon
