So these do work well for camping? I've been thinking that it would be nice to have one so I could camp in the bed of my truck when it rains...

    A few bolts are different.
I drove to Colorado from East Tennessee with my bestop up, it was solid the whole way.

Pierced Tiger has the short bed version so it is available.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will go by American Toyota and see what they can do. I tend to stay away from Karl Malone, they ripped me off on a vehicle back in 2000, tends to leave a sour taste in my mouth. Or I could go to Beaver Toyota in Santa Fe, they have a reputation from what I have heard, for being the easiest to deal with and the most fair, as well as moving on price more than either of the Albuquerque dealers that are both owned by Larry Miller.

I should have known better than to throw that 'tent' into the discussion, this thread has shown the most interest in that thing :D:D:D hah!

And, the Tacoma in that link is YELLOW.

I stay away from American for the same reason. Malone treated me right the last two cars I got but I have a friend who works there so I am a bit bias. I can't stand Beaver because of her F'n commercials.
