I'll check spare tires occasionally but mostly just before a road trip. I check spare on daughter's Jeep a week or so ago and it was low, still is

For those of you that keep the spare under the truck.

crawling under in the mud and chemicals ( my skin did not like something ) was enough once it rides in the back strapped to the right front corner of the bed.

Easy to remove and check the air pressure it has never been in my way with all the things I hauled .

I worked a little late today. They finally came up with a repair plan for that broken screw. Evidently they figured out it would work 3/4 of a inch shorter. So I just had to turn everything back .750" and put new threads on. I have to pick up the keyway tomorrow morning and extend it .750" and be done.
I was very pleasantly surprised how easy that material machined, it wasn't bad at all!

Maybe The drivers in your area are much smarter .

Here they would not care at all if the load was burning.

It does upset them when heavy steel items hit the floor with a boom.

I guess scrap has hit the bottom small welders getting tossed in the dumpster . The steel scrap roll off dumpster seems to have left the property

I have no idea just what I might have done.

Every thing hurts. May as well get an early start on July.

Yes it is! The last one (only other) I had to turn the ends just for bearings and it squealed, all shades of red stringy peel off...ugh ugly until I got through the crust. It had a chrome looking finish too.

On last night's local news they spoke about proper disposal of fireworks (douse with water basically) and showed a trash truck with fire ablaze.

Happy Friday all. Fingers crossed this shaft work like they expect.
Now this story of long night:popcorn:

    I hope nothing horrible bad:eek:
