    That's not the point.

I had a long argument/rant typed up, but decided it wasn't worth it. I still love the brick, building, and the creative side of the hobby. However, I am finding it ever more difficult to give a shit about Lego as a company.

I told my wife I was looking at a motorcycle. She said nope! So I showed her who’s boss!

Third party groups (other companies, events, Lego User Groups, etc) will not be allowed to print logos on minifigs. So yeah, no more club/event customs. At least that's my understanding.

    Can confirm:

The Starry Night is a very fun build. Very easy to hang, and very solid.
    10/10 would recommend!20220628_231438.jpg

I am on a quest to find set 77942 (blue fiat 500) for less than $150 shipped.
Almost pulled the trigger on the yellow set, but knew there had to be another color out there.

Anyone get their hands on a 77942 set here in the states?

I don’t know about shipping but the first two hits are at or below $150:

Yea the lowest I've found, including BL, is about $160 shipped

When hunting for these sets I try to stay within my budget/goal to justify the unnecessary expense.

Really hoping to score one for $120-$140 (tops) shipped

Might make me seem like a cheap sob for a couple dollars, but it adds up when you collect, and hunting for deals is one part of the hobby I thoroughly enjoy

    Check Out My Builds
Double Points order showed up. Shipping box looked fine but Lego box looked a little rough. Worth bitching about?? Won’t be building it for a while so idk if any pieces will be missing. But it doesn’t look too bad just shitty tape maybe. Guess I could check the bags :notsure:

I might be paranoid with the price increase and the pushback on logo’d minifigs but I swear this current set, released this month has less Legos per bag, a larger than needed box and the instructions are super thick but spread thin. For instance, the instructions use an entire step to add a corner brick, the next step is just a couple more…like, throughout the entire book there’s so many steps that could be combined. It’s like they’re intentionally trying to make this set look bigger and more complicated than it is. I don’t know.

This 11 piece quite complicated bit of Lego build took 4 steps and 2 pages to assemble. Color me suspicious…

My shuttle was missing pieces and the box was intact so....yeah. I'd do inventory. But you did but it direct so they have record of the purchase too.

Last night, the LUG in set up a display in one of the local libraries for the month of July. Three of my shops are there, along with several MOCs from other members. Most are book-related, plus a series of vignettes by one of our guys on the history of the Buffalo Soldiers.
