    No idea what me remember this. But anyhow…

    My ex father-in-law, Junior, was old. In his 60’s. And basically a very kind and good person. But big, strong and tough when he needed to be.
    But he had a terrible temper that made him crazy for a short while. I think he was bi-polar or something. He would pick up a pipe or a two by four or a John Deere tractor or whatever was handy and whup somebody upside the head. He would feel bad afterwards.
    So, anyway, one late night he was in line at a convenience store and the kid ahead of him pulls out a .38 and proceeds to rob the place. This really annoyed Junior. He just reached over and snatched the gun out of the kids hand and proceeded to smite him with it about the head and shoulders so hard it jolted his folks in Mexico City. Then held him there until the police and ambulance arrived. The local paper had him in the headlines as “The Senior Citizen Samaritan”
    I escaped his wrath while dating his daughter only because she knew the signs and warned me when to get gone. :D
