Yeah I think they're falling out of daily rotations and becoming more of a novelty again

A few years ago my neighbor passed away. He had an 83 in his garage that was almost new. Same color with 15k on the odometer. His daughter said I could take it for $500. I didn't want to feel guilty so I showed her what they were selling for. She sold it 2 days later for $13k.

Edit; now that I think about it, I should have bought it! She didn't mow my lawn, buy me a beer, put out...nuthin.

I'm relatively certain you can just put the 03/04 valve body in the older trans... that's what 4 runner guys do anyway

Yeah, wasn't exactly fun, at least I didn't think so. Turned out excellent but its a massive undertaking

And that's if you have a fairly pristine frame. If not, have fun with the stick:oops:

Finding things to go on the wall at the new place is a challenge. Used furniture market is ruined too. I'd rather just buy truck parts and leave the place empty.

2 months into our new house, and we're still having that challenge.

Walls are tricky cause it's easy to add too much, especially if you've got the space.

Just need to find the right wall piece, or art, that'll stand on its own.

Some of my Marine Corps stuff is finally up; didn't have it up at my other places.

The problem is on tundras unlike tacomas and pickups is the leaf mounts are offset from the frame so it's slightly more involved

That actually makes it slightly less involved really. You can just build platforms at any height you want rather than setting the whole perch Frenched into the frame
