Unsubscribed from The Athletic a few months ago because I thought $40 was too much. Kept getting lower and lower email offers and finally just resubscribed for $10 year lol

Just glad he finally made a decision. TBH I’m tired of hearing about the Manning sweepstake.

It doesn’t mean anything. LOIs are worthless in the NIL era.

Texas has the next big name at QB and will still be lucky to win 9 games. bAcK

The ACC is changing their scheduling format. The new model is based on a 3-5-5 structure whereby each team will play three primary opponents annually and face the other 10 league teams twice during the four-year cycle, once at home and once on the road. The old format had teams from one division playing teams in the other division once every 10 years or so...lol (TIC)

This is how the new "yearly rivals" have been allocated (the 3 in the 3-5-5 model):

    Boston College: Miami, Pitt, Syracuse
Clemson: Florida State, Georgia Tech, NC State
Duke: North Carolina, NC State, Wake Forest
    Florida State: Clemson, Miami, Syracuse
Georgia Tech: Clemson, Louisville, Wake Forest
    Louisville: Georgia Tech, Miami, Virginia
Miami: Boston College, Florida State, Louisville
North Carolina: Duke, NC State, Virginia
NC State: Clemson, Duke, North Carolina
Pitt: Boston College, Syracuse, Virginia Tech
Syracuse: Boston College, Florida State, Pitt
Virginia: Louisville, North Carolina, Virginia Tech
Virginia Tech: Pitt, Virginia, Wake Forest
Wake Forest: Duke, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech

Guess ND will continue to play their ~5 ACC OOC games every year as previously scheduled.

I wish WVU and ACC could bury the hatchet. We finally play PITT again this year after playing VT recently, and I miss rivalries.

    Nutty.

    Sucks for Pac-10 and Big-10.

    Only helps UCLA and USC.

How does getting the TV rights to the LA market hurt the B1G?

‘It gives the Big10 TV market (coverage) from the east coast to the west coast.

I guess I wasn’t thinking in terms of money.

    It’ll definitely gut the PAC-12.

This is why I’m not super excited about the pod idea for the SEC. I want them to keep the rivalries. UGA needs to play Florida, Tennessee and auburn every year. I’m Afraid theyll screw it up.

This doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Aside from the end goal of one super conference eventually. It’s a weird move.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
They basically already do. Most of us watch games from sun up to sun down (ok, I'm not on the coast anymore... But I know the area). And believe it or not... There isn't a huge football market on the west coast. Everyone is so far up their own asses they don't pay attention to much else.

No more weird than Oklahoma and Texas joining the SEC, or WVU, UC, etc. being in the B12. Names be damned, it’s about money.
