Good afternoon peoples! 1 day left at the old job then I start the new place on the 11th, tomorrow can't get here fast enough. Weesa gave us a good M.R., she sounds like she's ready to disappear for the week. Since Andy did such a good job of keeping the boat afloat last time, I think he will be fine to do it again. No one got their feathers ruffled last time and we all had a few good laughs.

we dont can stuff much anymore. but do put up tomatoes and especially salsa.got a easy canning recipe for salsa. whole family loves it. did like 60pints last year and its all gone. I have found if you take tomatoes like at end of season and they are too small to do much with they freeze awsome. i scald them to get the peeling off. rough dice and put in zip sandwich bags. they freeze flat, take up almost no room and, open a bag in December and just as sweet as when they were picked.

Quite a few t storms have rolled thru my area since about 1300hrs and currently being dumped on right now by a passing storm . Was just checking my weather forecast again and it shows t storms ea day thru the 12th of July

Also just got a call from my bank about a card charge that was declined . Looks like a attendant at Mister car wash tried to sign me up for monthly membership without me knowing about it

    Evening all.
It was down to the low 90's today.

We have been informed that we need to stop calling this a drought.

    It is the new normal.

Upon us all, a little rain must fall

Made it 1/2 way to camp, pulled off at another camp that is reservations only hoping I might luck out and get a place to crash for the night. Camp host was super nice and helped me find a place.
Now I'm walking thru camp and my GD hip decides to act up. Too much desk time this week. So I'm sitting at the boat dock waiting for my hip/back to calm down. Might have to hitchhike the 1/4 mile back to my camper

My doc has me doing a bunch of stretches a few times a day. Just didn't get to the last couple days on account of work. And the 2.5 hour drive here hasn't helped. Figured a walk would be a good thing!
