Thinking of trying out the new camburg LT kit.

I’d try to find some folks running that kit since it’s pretty new. Would be good to see if they tucked the lower arm up for extra clearance. Can’t tell from the pictures.

 

So what time is everyone going to be at Stoney in the morning?

 

I’m going to shoot for 9:30 since I’ve got the trailer and am picking someone up. I’m a bit over two hours away.

Is it the square looking pressure switch for the locker itself or a 90 on 120 psi off type switch?

 

Looks like a good kit, would want some real world feedback before spending that much. I wouldn’t get hung up on the ability to use your existing coilovers. Small expense for 8” coilovers and it’d be tuned for the extra leverage of a LT kit.

 

Just soild axle swap it and be done

 

I really like the slapper arm though.

too much work, too much money. dint need that much travel lol. Plus there are LT kits already available that rival SAS so its kinda not needed anymore.

I’d argue the rclt kit is just as strong and gets flex and has the drivability and practicality.

kit I’m looking at buying I’d be all in for $3,700 on a sale and after selling my takeoffs idk any SAS that cost that cheap and the labor time on something like that is 5 times the amount

 

You can sell what you take off if you SAS too. Axle around $5 to $700, that will leave $3000 for the rest.

 

The SAS I’ve seen on second gens don’t seem to have but a couple inches of up travel maybe a bit more if you raise the engine or sit tall. Crapload of work setting up links and steering from scratch. I’ve debated it, but I think it’d be ahead of the game with a different platform. I’ve got 7k in the front minus gears. Would take about that to have a good functioning SAS plus a lot more work. Most are running 14” coilovers up front and I’m pulling around 13” out of my LT.
