    Title says it, I have a set of the chinesium knobs on but I have noticed that some times the 4x4 knob turning on at its own, sometimes to the point of engaging 4x4 which I notice.

    Any one else notice this? I wonder why there are not some stronger detents on it.

    I believe the answer to your question, is in the question itself.


    The OEM switch has a strong detent. Replace the switch before you have to replace your transfer case.
