Had the day off so rode south to the Annapolis area to get some more lighthouse pictures for the Iron Butt Challenge we're working on. Here's a coupe of the better ones.

Got 2 others but the pics aren't that clear compared to these. We've now visited 25 lighthouses out of the 60 we need. Guess we need to get out and ride a little more.

 

ye gold wheels are nice but that might be since i own gold wheels haha but i do think ill end up with blue wheels for my sm conversion

There are quite a few lighthouses at NC outer banks. Not sure if any of them are on the iron butt challenge but it would definitely make a good trip if they are.

 

Drove from Phoenix to Plano TX to pick up my Norvin project.

probably won’t use the original body work, but amazing to see the custom metal work from the early 60’s

 

We got some in April on ride home from Key West. Missed Ocracoke and Hatteras though due to an issue with not being able to get ferry.

 

Anyone here got experience on a KTM DUKE 790 or a 2013ish Ducati monster?

Not as "track" ready as I'd like but seems like it'll be fine for my current skill level and a great bike overall. Seems a bit pricey, so will definitely be doing some negotiating...

 

Something about that ad feels off to me.. "immaculate", but yet it has an extremely dirty chain and a fairly worn rear sprocket and he can't be bothered to put the exhaust he's selling it with on remove his helmet from the photos.. is something leaking from the left side of the engine? There's a plate lower down w/ 3 screws, top screw has a trail of dried fluid coming off it. I wonder if it was tuned for the aftermarket two bros exhaust he's not including? All negotiation points I guess.

Or maybe I just haven't had my coffee yet and am being extra paranoid and cranky

these guys ride better on one wheel than most riders do on two

 

Professionals don’t tear up public roads that aren’t closed down in public traffic endangering the public.

Imagine someone endangering your family doing something else stupid and when you say don’t endanger my family they say, it’s okay, I’ve practiced a lot, I’m a “professional” . . .

Please.

 

Maybe the photos we flame when people aren’t wearing ATGATT are also highly skilled professionals so they get a pass, too haha. I mean, they’re riding a lot safer than these idiots.
