Just trying to get some advice on what may be causing misfires my truck is having. 2007 4.0 v6 with 352k miles. Never had any major issues since I bought the truck brand new. It does have trd supercharger. The truck is at the dealership now. Just waiting to see what the damage will be. Codes are p0300, p0301, p0303. Thanks

Many things can cause misfires including but not limited to:

    Spark plug(s)
    Coil boot(s)
    Coil(s)
    Vacuum leak
    Injector(s)
    Low compression
    PCM

Hopefully they do proper testing to determine the cause instead of just throwing parts at it.

I know. Weird I just drove to drop my son off at the pool a d when we left it started sputtering and cut off. It wouldn't crank over after that. Today I went to mess with it at toyota dealer and it started up, but started hesitating. I was able to see the codes then. I hope it's nothing big. Thanks for replying

Nothing to add but personally, I would be content even if the end result is needing a new engine. That engine lived a good life making it to 350k miles. If that's the case and you are still loving the truck, put that TRD SC on another 4.0 swap. Well done OP.

I love this truck! I have put so much into it, but my wife does not like all the time I spend tinkering with it. I bought it brand new and put ever mile on it. Not once have I had anything major happen with it. I have caused more issues than the truck itself. This could be my opportunity to start a new build though. Tomorrow I should find out what the issue is.

Bro’s truck had this, wound up being a coil pack.

So toyota pulled the codes, p0171 bank 1 lean, p0300 random misfire, p0301 cylinder 1 misfire, p0303 cylinder 3 misfire, p0351 ignition coil a primary circuit, p0355 ignition coil e primary circuit, b2799 engine immobilizer system @ 10psi instead of 40.8. Of course they said let's replace fuel pump which was replaced about 40k miles ago. It was warboro 255 from urd. I was skeptical since it wasn't that old. Does anyone have any other knowledge relating to these codes. Could it be a bad coil boot. Would that cause other cylinder to go bad. What would cause the low fuel pressure. Is it possible the fuel pump was good but pressure was still low. I'm not that knowledgeable when diagnosing vehicle problems. With 352k miles I told toyota I don't want to start throwing parts at the truck and it not fixing the problem. I can do that for free. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I know this site has some pretty knowledgeable people on here. Thanks

Are you saying your fuel pressure is as 10psi?
I’m kind of confused as to how you worded it.
The B2799 has nothing to do with fuel pressure.

It’s a communication error between the ECU and Immobilizer.
If your trucks is starting, I would not worry about it.
The immobilizer only prevents the truck from starting.
